Managing your Google Business Profile on a mobile device looks different since Google sunset the standalone Google My Business app. Google emailed business owners about the change, which followed the renaming of Google My Business to Google Business Profile in 2021.
You can still manage your Google Business Profile on a desktop by going to google.com/business. You can also manage your business directly on Google Maps or Google Search on a smartphone.
The GMB app is gone from iPhone and Android - all mobile management now happens through Google Maps, Google Search, or the desktop dashboard.
When you open the Google Maps app and look up your business, you’ll see a blue badge with a checkmark indicating that you have access to manage the listing. (If you don’t see the checkmark, you’re not signed into a Google account that has access to the business profile.)
If you’re signed into a Google account with Owner/Manager access, you can manage the business info and photos, respond to reviews, publish offers and updates, and use all the other features inside your Google Business Profile, right from your smartphone.
